Learning Continues: Teachers Get First Look at New Instructional Resources

More than 2,600 CCSD teachers, instructional coaches and district specialists received initial training this week on the new ELA and Math instructional resources that will be used in our classrooms starting in August! Training sessions were held at six high school campuses and the vendors sent dozens of trainers to assist on site as teachers began exploring the new textbooks, workbooks and digital resources approved by the School Board.

These new materials will be key to the success of our mission to become the highest performing school district in Georgia!

School Board Vice Chair Patsy Jordan and School Board members Kelly Poole, Susan Padgett-Harrison and Erin Ragsdale, along with Superintendent Mary Elizabeth Davis, stopped by training sites to welcome teachers and see their reactions to the new materials.  #ElevateTheExcellence
