It’s Agriculture Week in Georgia and numerous CCSD schools celebrated the occasion with special activities.  R.M. Moore ES STEM Academy on Thursday welcomed the owners of Hunter Cattle Company, CCSD School Nutrition’s provider of grass-fed, grass-finished beef, for a special celebration.  They and guests from the Georgia Department of Education, School Board Chair Kyla Cromer and Mary Elizabeth enjoyed nachos prepared with the company’s beef and took a tour of the school’s agriculture classroom and garden with teacher Amber McFarland.  CCSD School Nutrition’s beef nachos entrée served districtwide now features the grass-fed, grass-finished beef.
