Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Amber McFarland of R.M. Moore ES STEM Academy!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day! Agriculture enrichment teacher Amber McFarland, a five-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for R.M. Moore ES STEM Academy!
“From a parent point of view, I have seen firsthand that Ms. McFarland genuinely loves her students,” shared the parent of former and current students. “She shows an incredible amount of patience and compassion towards them. She has been a teacher to my three children starting out originally as a homeroom, English language arts and social studies teacher to my oldest and now the agriculture teacher to my other two. The teaching standards she has exhibited in combining agriculture with science and social studies are incredible. They cherish her as a teacher and a mentor.”
